When P3D meets Video, it’s a sick demo…

I had always thought there ain’t no big usage for 3d in flash, seems this is awfully wrong after seeing this sick video demo…:)

google street anyone ?

你好，不知道你是否知道国内前段时间出了个类似google street功能的网站。没看过的话，我想你会感到惊讶。http://www.city8.com/ 不知道你访问网速咋样。BTW:Blog内容不错。

hey, city8.com 做的很不錯，看來也是用類似的技術(車上放個球式camera然後滿街跑)，拍回相片後再用 panaroma vr 的技術製作成 flash 影片。

我特別喜歡右方那個放射狀的攝像範圍控制，可以直接在地圖上拖著看四面八方的畫面，這個比 google street 好很多(usability 加分)。

我想目前在中國市場做這個，應該是非常有 niche 的一個事業吧，進入時間早，使用的技術也正確，成功機率很大。

ps. 不過那個 swf 似乎是 debug 版，會一直跳出 alert dialog 問 debugger 無法連接，這個要處理一下。

全景地图是city8自己的，右侧的地图是mapabc的（就是google map的国内数据提供商），两者都是基于Flash的。city8会不会遭国内用户投诉就很难说了，毕竟车牌，脸都很清晰。

呵客訴到是不用太擔心，看 google map 怎麼處理就好(不過那個臉真的有點太清淅，感覺突然跟他熟了起了啊) XD

說真的，我覺得 city8 目前的發展方向大有可為，想辦法把效能提升，然後加入一些有意義的 mashup，應該是有機會成為領導品牌的。
