Using repeat-x, repeat-y in flex background

Seems like these days everyone’s working on the solution to use repeated tile image as the background in flex, I went further and figured out how to honor repeat-x, repeat-y settings just like one would in html.

From the example you can also see the repeat-center effect, this was brought up to me by a friend, he wanted to have the brush-metal style background found in os x, where the gradient area would always stay in the middle of the background (during or after resizing), drawing the viewer’s attention into it.

Those examples are done on the flight back from Vegas after Max 2006, but haven’t got time to post due to heavy project work load, if you have got better idea regarding how to further optimize it, please do let me know, thanks.
